This dug mid 1870’s medium orange amber square Dr. J. Hostetter’s bitters bottle stands 9-1/8″ tall, has an appled top and a smooth embossed base. The base is embossed “W. McC & Co E”. The bottle was lightly pro-cleaned to remove the haze from residing in the ground for a 140+ years. The bottle looks like the day it was made, with NO chips, cracks, scratches, stain or case wear.
