This 1910 Southern Pacific Railroad date nail measures 2-1/4″ long and has a 1/4″ OD round shaft with an indented date. The nail was soaked in vinegar to remove the creosote. There is some very minor shaft discoloration in two small areas, otherwise this early date nail is in excellent condition. These early nails are getting harder to find in this condition.
