This early 1900’s miniature kerosene table lamp stands 8-1/2″ tall when fully assembled. The base is 3″ O.D. The lamp has a hint of a straw yellow coloration. This was caused when the glass maker added selenium to the glass for clarity. The old addative of mangenese that was used from the late 1880’s to the early 1900’s turned the glass amethyst, or purple when exposed to the sun light. The use of Selenium in glass making was for a very short period of time. The lamp is original except for the modern chimney. The time period brass burner is marked “P&A Mfg.” on the thumb screw. The lamp is fully functional and is in excellent condition with NO chips, cracks or scratches. A real cool miniature table lamp. USPS shipping.
