This 1870’s “B” Stockton & Marysville, California blue aqua Gravitating soda stands 7-1/4″ tall, has an applied top and smooth embossed base. The front of the bottle is embossed with a large block letter “B”. The bottom has all the information about The Mathews Co. who designed the bottle including the patent date. The bottle was made for Charles Belding who operated soda business’ in Stockton and Marysville, California in 1870’s. This is one of two different gravitators that Belding used. The soda was lightly pro-cleaned to remove the haze from being buried in the ground, otherwise it’s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, flashes or case wear.
